Of specific surprise to several officers is the light's ability to seemingly penetrate tinted motor vehicle windows without any noticeable distortion of the light. This light is slightly longer than a Stinger LED flashlight but not obtrusive. Just large enough to hold under your arm to free your hands yet small enough to fit comfortably on your duty belt. So far our testers have been placing this light in the leather carrying pouches that they were already using for their Stinger lights without any issues, though, a carrying pouch is included with every light that is constructed of black nylon. The Top Gun is also long and sturdy enough to be used as a secondary weapon should there be no viable alternative.
The vehicle charger is very simple to operate and also unobtrusive to a vehicle's interior. The light fits securely in the charger and doesn't rattle or shake as we have seen in larger lights.
The power output of the light is extremely impressive. Generally speaking, at night you simply can't look at the light if it is shined at you. It provides an outstanding tactical advantage for high risk encounters.
